Halloween Fun

This week’s class was dedicated to Halloween fun and what better way to express it than with the very Happy Haunting DSP!  Tangelo Twist, Basic Black and Very Vanilla are the quintessential hallowed colours.

My guests often ask where I get my ideas from and I am not afraid to say that lots of ideas start with the dozens of different challenges that are put out on blogs every week!  This month’s cards were naturals for a number of inspirational combinations that are out there.

When I saw SIP Challenge 19 – Tic-Tac-Toe at StampInkPaper.com I knew I had the black, orange, ghost all wrapped up!  How could you not with Halloween in the air!

Also, Nacho Average Challenge #164 is absolutely made for the Happy Haunting DSP! What a fun package of paper to play with and I just love Halloween!

This first card was deeply inspired by the CCMC375 – Sketch Challenge – Create with Connie and Mary.  Most specifically the card made by Connie Babbert for the challenge.  Mine was made too late to link to the site, but check them out anyway for lots of good inspiration!  Here is my card:

All supplies are Stampin’ Up! even the now retired googly eyes.  (Card Stock:Basic Grey, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Happy Hauntings DSP; Basic Grey and StazOn Black inks, Owl Punch, Thick Vanilla Bakers Twine and Among the Branches stamp set)

Stampin’ Up!’s If the Broom Fits stamp has just the right amount of sass!  How many people do you want to say that too! (Card Stock: Tangelo Twist, Very Vanilla, Happy Hauntings DSP; Basic Black Archival ink, 2014-2016 InColour Stampin’ Write Markers, Small Banner Punch, If The Broom Fits stamp and the spider from Cheer All Year set)

The last card is also full of ghosts with black and orange and a couple extra ghoulish colours!

(Card Stock: Tangelo Twist, Rich Razzleberry, Smoky Slate, Very Vanilla, Happy Hauntings DSP; Basic Black Archival and Blackberry Bliss ink, Into the Woods 3/8 Cotton Ribbon, Sweet Hauntings stamp set)

Hope you all have a Deadly Happy Halloween!

Inking of You…
