OnStage April 2018

On April 7th demonstrators met in London Ontario, and at the same time as demonstrators in many other locations around the world. We now have in our hot little hands the 2018-19 annual catalogue with all the beautiful new products for you to discover. Now unfortunately unless you are also a demonstrator you will have to wait until May before you can share in my excitement over all the new goodies. Want in on the fun? Ask me how.

OnStage is full of fun and frivolity, friendship and sharing. We will get to use new stamp sets, learn how to help our business, and swap cards to gather new ideas from other talented demos.

These cards are the ones I will be swapping with my SU family and I have made about 20 extra to swap with other demonstrators.

Both projects use the Stamparatus, Stampin’ Up!’s new stamp positioning tool.  It is extremely versatile with options not available with other positioners.  Actually nothing short of AWESOME in my opinion and totally worth the wait!

To create my own DSP with the Bubble over set, I used the moving hinge capability of the Stamparatus, stamping one side of each card first, then marking the middle point of the bottle so I knew where to replace the card for stamping down the other side.  Sounds confusing but was super easy other than constantly cleaning the stamps!  Also, I used the light Pool Party Blends to tint the ribbon to match!

I made the leather apron by soaking Soft Suede in Stampin’ Mist and crumpling it up a few times.  After carefully opening the paper back up it was left to dry overnight.  Running through the Big Shot to cut also flattened out the paper and you end up with a soft leathery feel.  Then I used the Stamparatus to stamp the saying on the apron and also to position the Happy Birthday!  Coloured the rhinestones with a black Sharpie for a more masculine look.

Happy Stamping!
