Hello Little Elephant

Sometimes I get the opportunity to attend a Crop Day with a friend or two.  These days are interesting as paper crafting is very much like camping.  Whether you go for a couple hours or a couple days you need to pack everything except the kitchen sink.  One of the best ways to take ink is to bring the Stampin’ Write Markers.  I store mine in standard stamp cases which allows you to bring our entire colour selection in 5 cases!  While most attendees were busy creating fun layouts to preserve family memories, I chose to tidy up a few bits and pieces and I designed this card for a new little addition… now I just need to find someone expecting one!

Soft Sea Foam is a new favourite colour in our line up.  It’s just perfect for baby cards for both boys and girls!  The soft colours of the stamping is achieved by colouring the markers straight onto the stamp.  The ink always seems to be a step lighter shade of the ink pad when you use this method.

Do you see the Subtle texture on the layer of Soft Sea Foam?  That is is the new Subtle Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder (whew that’s a mouthful).  It is so subtle that you can’t really see what it does when you look at the picture in the catalogue.  It gives the paper a lovely linen look and adds nice interest to the card!
