Everyone loves the classic Christmas scene. A decorated home, pristine white snow and a Christmas tree. The Festive Farmhouse suite provides all of these things with a set designed for Christmas but adaptable to all year. This one will stay on my shelf for all time but is only available until the end of December! With some of the elements of the suite gone already (none on this card) I would not hesitate if you love this set!
Class attendees really enjoyed putting this scene together. Colouring is so much fun and the Blends just glide on so nicely to create smooth even colour.
This is a great card for adding your own special touches. Colour the house of the truck to match your own if you like 🙂 The pop out circle looks very fancy but is not hard to create with proper placement of the Big Shot cutting plates. Click here for instructions.
Happy Stampin’ from my house to yours!
The Christmas season can get so busy and who doesn’t get towards the end of November without a little panic about sending out your annual Christmas cards? Quick and easy to the rescue!
The Wishing You Well set in the 2018 Holiday Catalogue is simply gorgeous. The distinktive stamps help the images to just jump off the page. There are some tricks to using them which can be found in my instructions.
I have used the Country Lane DSP for my woodgrain background. You could also use our Wood Textures DSP, Nature’s Poem DSP, or even create your own with either the Hardwood background stamp or the Pinewood Planks Textured Embossing Folder! So many options 😀
Happy Stampin’ !!
After so many cards being on the internet, I finally had to break down and bring this beautiful ribbon home. Stampin’ Up!’s distinktive stamps do create wonderful images that just pop out of the page.
We created this card in a recent class because the holidays are coming and whether we like it or not, quite often you find yourself needing a card like this but don’t have the time to make it. Sympathy and get well cards should always have a place in your stash.

Happy Stampin’ Birthday!
A new group of crafters has come my way. These young ladies have already got busy lives but are always looking for something more! ENSS (our local high school) has become the home to Lunch Break Cards. Once a month I will bring them a seasonal project that they can complete in their half hour break.
As with many young crafters they like to take what’s given to them and forge their own path. I provide a specific pack of paper, some suggestions and then let them go to town.
This time I took them the Country Home stamp set and this paper pack:
I reviewed how to stamp the images together and showed them a couple of things about how my cards went together. These were my samples:
The ladies worked hard to get their projects done and then practically ran out of the room to get to the next thing on their list. Great fun was had but I’ll have to try harder to get pictures of their finished product.

Product List – Many different colours of Blends markers were used to colour in the images. They can also be found in the online store!
Every time I see a new catalogue it amazes me the advances that are made in our Designer Series Paper. They keep getting more and more beautiful. The latest trend is live photography meaning that the DSP is actually a picture of real things. Petal Promenade is an excellent example of how beautiful an effect this technique is. How can you not just let this beautiful paper speak for itself! A sentiment and ribbon is all that is needed to turn this pretty paper into a fabulous wedding card.
