This or That with the Host Set Soft Spring

Well, summer flies by and before you know it months have gone without a blog post! It’s not that crafting and card classes don’t occur but there is too many other things to do that aren’t sitting at my computer!

This lovely host set is so simple and elegant. It can be added to orders of $200CDN or more. That amount can be from items on your wish list (trust me there’s lots to love in our catalogue) or from the gathering of orders you get from a home party! Perhaps I can inspire you to get your friends together for a workshop and have a fun night together!

The Stampin’ Up!’s Stamparatus makes lining up this two-step set a breeze. To allow the colour of the flowers come through I inked up the stamp and then pressed paper towel on the stamp to soak up most of the ink leaving just a light outline image. When you come back in with the flower colour the blooms can really shine! Put a little wink-of-stella on the dragonflies to make them come alive.

When I cut paper for my card classes I usually cut a few extras. Makes it easy to grab an already prepared piece if one of my participants has an oops! After class, I put together the left overs for my stash. I had my own oops during this process so added extra colour to cover it up. Which do you prefer?
